Viscose fabrics stand out for their pleasant feel on the skin and excellent drape. The viscose fabrics in our shop are woven; they have lightness and a cooling effect.
Viscose is a natural-origin fiber obtained from cellulose. The best qualities of this fabric – pleasantly soft texture, easy drape and relatively low-maintenance care.
Most often this viscose fabric is used for sewing airy garments, so it is a great fabric for sewing dresses, skirts, blouses, lightweight clothing and nightwear. On their own they are not warming, which is why they are popular specifically for making summer clothes.
Sewing tips:
To sew viscose fabric, it is recommended to use microtex needles. Thanks to their extra-sharp point, the needle is suitable for high thread-density fabrics
