Gabardine is a classic, durable fabric with a beautiful drape. This high-quality suiting fabric is an excellent choice for a variety of sewing projects. Its particularly durable and lightweight material makes it ideal for both apparel and home textile items.

Garments sewn from this fabric wrinkle minimally and are easy to iron and care for. Suitable for sewing dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, tablecloths, and curtains.

Sewing recommendations:

Needle type: It is best to use sewing needles with a sharp point, for example universal needles in sizes 70/10 or 80/12.

Threads: It is recommended to use polyester thread to ensure maximum strength and elasticity.

Sewing technique: Polyester fabric is easy to work with and holds seams well, so it is suitable for both beginners and experienced sewists.

Care

-Washing: Machine wash at 30°C, gentle cycle.

-Bleaching: Do not bleach.

-Ironing: Iron at low heat.

-Dry cleaning: Dry clean with any solvent except trichloroethylene.

-Drying: Tumble dry on normal cycle at low heat.
