The fabric finishing edge is a specially elastic tubular fabric suitable for finishing garment edges – necklines, sleeves, and hems.
Sewing tips:
When sewing with cotton knit, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles. If the knit is very stretchy, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for elastic fabrics. These needles have a rounded point that allows them to glide easily between knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the fabric thickness, but common sizes for cotton knit are 70/10 or 80/12.
