Viscose fabrics stand out for their pleasant feel on the skin and excellent drape. The viscose fabrics in our shop are woven; they have lightness and a cooling effect.
Viscose is a natural-origin fiber obtained from cellulose. The best qualities of this fabric are a pleasantly soft texture, easy drape, and relatively simple care.
Most often this viscose fabric is used for sewing airy garments, so it is a great fabric for making dresses, skirts, blouses, lightweight clothing, and nightwear. On their own they are not warming, which is why they are popular for summer clothing.
Sewing tips:
To sew viscose fabric, it is recommended to use microtex needles. Thanks to their particularly sharp point, the needle is suitable for high thread-count fabrics
