SCHMETZ DPx5 S are industrial sewing machine needles for leather with a S (Narrow Cross Point) cutting tip. This needle tip creates a very straight, clean stitch because the cut in the material is made perpendicular to the thread direction. Perfectly suited for precise seams on leather without damaging the material. The chrome coating provides less friction and higher durability during intensive work.
Choose the needle size and thread size according to the material thickness.
Suitable for industrial lockstitch machines using 134 series needles.
Needle systems (equivalents): 134 S, 135X8 N CR, 135X8 N R SP, PFX134 KS, DPx5 S
The visual appearance of seams in the images refers to machines with side-thread insertion. The seam effect may vary slightly on front-thread insertion machines. If a slant stitch is needed, choose LR or LL cutting tips.
