Knitwear is easy to care for and does not wrinkle. Thanks to the slight addition of elastane, the knit fabric retains its shape and does not stretch out—while preserving the good qualities of cotton.
Perfectly suited for casual wear, dresses, children's clothing, t-shirts, sportswear, as well as hats and scarves.
Sewing tips:
When sewing with cotton knit fabric, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles. If the knit fabric is very stretchy, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for elastic fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to glide easily between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the fabric thickness, but for cotton knitwear, commonly suitable sizes are 70/10 or 80/12.
