Gabardine is a classic, durable fabric with a beautiful drape. This high-quality suiting fabric is an excellent choice for a variety of sewing projects. Its particularly durable yet lightweight material makes it ideal for both apparel and home textile items.

Garments made from this fabric crease minimally and are easy to iron and care for. Suitable for sewing dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, tablecloths, and curtains.

Sewing recommendations:

Needle type: It is best to use sewing needles with a sharp point, such as universal needles in sizes 70/10 or 80/12.

Threads: It is recommended to use polyester thread, which will provide maximum strength and elasticity.

Sewing technique: Polyester fabric is easy to work with and holds seams well, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced sewists.

Care

-Mazgāšana: Machine wash 30°C, gentle cycle.

-Balinošana: Do not bleach.

-Gludināšana: Iron at low heat.

-Ķīmiskā tīrīšana: Dry clean with any solvent except trichloroethylene.

-Žāvēšana: Tumble dry on normal cycle with low heat.
