The knit is easy to care for and does not wrinkle. Thanks to a little added elastane, the knitted fabric will retain its shape and will not stretch out — while keeping the good properties of cotton.
Great suitable for casual wear, dresses, children's clothing, t-shirts, sportswear, as well as hats and scarves.
Sewing tips:
To sew with cotton jersey, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the jersey is very elastic it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for elastic fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to easily glide between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the fabric thickness, but common sizes suitable for cotton jersey are 70/10 or 80/12.
