     Satin ist ein Stoff in Atlasbindung mit glänzender, glatter Vorderseite und matter Rückseite. Die besten Eigenschaften dieses Stoffes – angenehm weiche Struktur, schön fallend und pflegeleicht.

     Der leichte Glanz macht den Stoff eleganter und schöner, daher wird dieser Stoff am häufigsten für die Herstellung anspruchsvoller Kleidung verwendet; deshalb ist er ein großartiger Stoff für Kleider, Röcke und Korsetts.

     Dieser Stoff eignet sich hervorragend für Tuniken, Blusen, schöne Hemden, Westen, sogar für luftige Kleidung und Nachtwäsche. Aus Satin werden auch verschiedene Dekorationen für Innenräume genäht, zum Beispiel Vorhänge, Stuhlhussen sowie Tischdecken.

     Enthält kein Elastan und dehnt sich daher nicht.
