Cotton loopback jersey (French Terry) is a soft, comfortable, and slightly stretchy fabric with elastane in its composition.

 On one side, the fabric is smooth, while on the other side it has a small looped texture that adds extra comfort and warmth.

This fabric is ideal for sportswear, casual outfits, hats, sweatshirts, trousers, and children's clothing.

Loopback jersey is breathable and ensures natural air circulation, making it a great choice for both cooler and warmer days. A practical and durable fabric with enough stretch for comfortable everyday wear.

Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton jersey, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the jersey is very stretchy, then it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for stretchy fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip, allowing them to glide easily between the jersey fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size is usually   70/10 or 80/12.
